Both Pasi and Anna worked in TV / Film before starting Hetta Huskies and since running the husky farm, they have been involved in over 20 films either using the farm as a base or as the subject of their program.
One of the short films / infomercials shot at the farm by Oscar nominated director Nanette Burstein was the short film, “Flavour of Home”, which tells the story of a mother’s journey across the Arctic to surprise her daughter, Carmen, with a homemade meal (for the brand Knorr).
This short video won the 'Best Use of Video' category at the M & M Global awards, 13.8 million views were delivered by Unruly across the target markets; the video was the #2 most shared ad globally the week that it came out in 2015; 40% of viewers watched the video again at a later date and 36% spoke about the content offline; Almost 100 sponsored posts were secured across female-targeted blogs, generating 1.19 million social exposures across Twitter and Facebook; 1.31% CTR to the Knorr site.
A long and very popular program in which the farm was featured was the 2015 Christmas Special of the Channel 5 UK series, 'The Dog Rescuers'.
Visit Finland has also used our location on a number of occassions, and Pasi was the expedition coordinator for the whole of the Visit Finland '100 days of Polar Night' campaign, which shot a couple of their 'expeditionary episodes' at our base. (Pasi was also the profiled expedition leader of the entire PR campaign.)
Prior to that he had worked as the location scouting and property master for the 'Christmas Story' (Joulutarina).
and he had worked for a number of years as the technical expert of the Lapin Kulta Challenge Films and the Lapin Kulta Freeride Camp Programmes.
Anna had also worked as an AP for the BBC and had been involved in the inaugral 'SAS Are you Tough Enough' Series and 'The Challenge' - a series of programes that looked at human potential through the world of extreme endurance events.
